I was walking around Bangkok from Silom to Ratchada today and took these pictures, some neat graffiti in Bangkok
Lots of “BNE Was Here” pics, that dude is FAMOUS!
Silom Festival in Bangkok
Jan 17
Silom Fest was great this year, lots of great foods, and entertainment here in the Silom Patpong area of Bangkok
Bhumibol Adulyadej birthday is today, it’s kind of a big deal here, they have commercials, they even put little papers in our mailbox giving respect to the king, supposedly the most beloved king in the world!

He’s giving his birthday speech, wishing good for people of Thailand here
Here in Ratchada, I heard a commotion outside and seen there was a ton of people, approx 50, and police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, etc, there was some asian dude, looked Thai or Korean on his balcony on 6th or 7th floor. The police blew up a big air cushion thing and prepared it hoping he could fall in that. About 20mins into it, he finally jumped!!! Fell into the cushion and was going crazy and then got out of it waiving around a HUGE knife, all the police were there to restrain him all ran off! Then he ran off waiving the knife, til he was out of my view. I think he was on Yaba for sure!
I have the video of all I could see from my kitchen window! Vid here (247MB)
Exciting night here in Bangkok!!! Yay!! haha
Of course my Mommy’s cooking is #1 in the world, her tostadas, pot roasts, caseroles, and even the simple things, but when I’m not around I have to find other things to fill my tummy, and so far the best thing I’ve found outside of my Mom’s kitchen is Bar B Q Plaza!!! MMmmmmmm!
Someday I’m hoping to own a Bar B Q Plaza hehehee. It’s a Japanese and Korean-style suki with a cute mascot Bar B Gon, he’s the green dragon guy that you see at EVERY BBQ Plaza restaurant lol

It’ll be my first trip up to northern city of Chiang Mai, going for a birthday party of a friend, there from 19th – 21st, I’ll post pictures later
I’ve been MIA here
Mar 6

Had to take a break from the fast paced big city of Bangkok, so I took a 1 week trip over two hours away to Pattaya and Jomtien Beach about 2 hours south of BKK. They have the best hotels at CHEAP prices and awesome nightlife, beaches, foods and even a new Central Festival World (a BIG awesome mall with tons of designer clothing shops and usually the best japanese foods restaurants). The pic above is 1 of my favorite value hotels in Thailand, it’s the Amari Nova Platinum hotel
Well, it looks like the protesters succeeded in ruining peoples travelling and holiday schedules. I just found out that ANA (All Nippon Airlines) has cancelled all their flights from Suvarnabhumi International airport for today/tonight, so I wont be flying today and I wont be home for Thanksgiving
I’m looking for alternative ways to get out of here, so far they think it’ll be over by December 1st but I want to depart sooner so I’m looking to bus or train it to Phenom Penh, Cambodia airport or a southern Thailand airport.
Sorry everyone, this is so crappy
You see!? There are no riots in Bangkok, only nice nights out at the local Spicy disco near MBK Center. Sipping on a bottle of Gin and pineapple juice, and apple juice, sure we’re all on diets. And yes, i DO still have that shirt LOL, I still love it, the material is great, nice and worn away, so dont make fun of me for having it for 8 years!!! haha
I’ll be out of service for a few days, hopefully will get some good pics and will post them when I get back
In case of emergency, I’ll be at Novotel Chumphon
…..trip is done, here are the pics………….
From her brothers wedding, drinking beers at the reception with Prissana’s family
Next day after wedding, these beaches are very long, have many islands right of the coasts, and have like NO PEOPLE!!! It’s great!
Looking out the window of our resort at Tusita Resort in Chumphon, Thailand, was beautiful, secluded..
Last night, had some fresh food and beer at the beach, like the food pic? hows that for super fresh seafood!!!!! The ghung (shrimps) were awesome, dipping in their homemade spicy seafood sauce (that stuff you liked Tony)
