Back in the USA! It’s great to be back to be back in the USA, land of Taco Bell, Arbys, big cars! cold weather, English language! FAT people, and ummmmm FRESH AIR! It’s great to be back :)

Stupid Bangkok protesters postponed my flight, I wont be home for Thanksgiving now :(

thailand-suvarnabhumi-airpo.jpg

Well, it looks like the protesters succeeded in ruining peoples travelling and holiday schedules. I just found out that ANA (All Nippon Airlines) has cancelled all their flights from Suvarnabhumi International airport for today/tonight, so I wont be flying today and I wont be home for Thanksgiving :(

I’m looking for alternative ways to get out of here, so far they think it’ll be over by December 1st but I want to depart sooner so I’m looking to bus or train it to Phenom Penh, Cambodia airport or a southern Thailand airport.

Sorry everyone, this is so crappy :(

Mall of Asia, 3rd biggest mall in the WORLD!

I was just there this morning, to the 3rd largest mall in the world, in Pasay City (Manila) Philippines, it’s called the SM Mall of Asia. It had just about every story, every company, every restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life!!! Nike, Subway, Columbia, Adidas, TGI Fridays, Timezone, IMAX theater, Holland Tulip, Dell, and olympic sized ice skating rink, bowling and thousands more!

On the way back to Cebu City from the Moalboal trip we stopped into the small city Badian to view the Kawasan Falls, sat there eating french fries and of course pounding some San Migs, thats probably why I was sweating so much! hehe, but it was extremely hot and was a LONG hike up very difficult rocky, slippery rocks, bamboo bridges, and mossy filled rocks.

Snorkling in Moalboal, Philippines, awesome time!

dsc02481.JPGdsc02484.JPG

We went far down south to Moalboal, Philippines. It’s a diving and beach resort place with some of the most beautiful coral reefs and some of the best diving/snorkling in the world!

We took out that bonka boat thing along with some chicken lechon minok (Cebuano cuisine food), some water, bananas and some San Mig Lights. Had an awesome time floating around viewing the bright blue starfish, the beautiful fish and all that. Was GREAT!

Afterwards the boat took us to White Sands beach, relaxed on the nice beaches.

So, who do you think has a nicer ass?

By the way, anyone ever travelling to Pattaya, I’d highly recommend this hotel, I’ll plan on staying here for every future trip to Pattaya, to the Four Seasons Place

Drove to Pensacola Florida to meet the family

Tony, my Dad, and I all drove down to Florida today to meet up with Stevie and her family, (and also my Mom and niece Maddie and Nephew Payton flew in). It was a 16 hour drive but it flew right by (good thing they let me sleep for half the drive hehehe)

Looking forward for the next days spending with family, beach, and my doggies.

Great to be here! :)

My Isreali friends wedding, traditional Thai wedding

On Monday May 5th my friend Felix married his long time Thai girlfriend in her city province of Nakhon Nayok, Thailand, it’s a small city about 2 hours northeast from Bangkok. Here are some of the Thai dishes we feasted on, chicken curry, lots of spicey soups, and some good coconut based desserts too!

It was SO SO SO hot walking around in 100+ degree weather, sun blazing on our faces, so any chance at finding a shadow was jumped on!!! LOL

Here is all the money given to the wife’s family, it’s traditional for the husband to marry the wife and give a “Dowry” to the family, to be honest I think it’s ridiculous for anyone to pay any family for any marriage hehe

Here is all of us at the 7pm reception type of thing, there was a TON of people that attended, approx 1000 people, we were the only farangs (foreigners) there of course, had tons of Thai whiskey, Vodka, traditional Thai dancers, good band, and an extremely large amount of delicious food, like those shrimps in the pics :)

During my friends weding, there was a break with nothing to do for 5 hours, so we decided to pass the time by going to Dream World. We went into the snow land area, to go sledding in freezing cold weather and even snow! And no I didnt win that doll for Prissana, my Aussie friend Gregor did LOL

Pay up Grand Diamond City casino, Poipet Cambodia

picture1.jpg

Yesterday (April 23rd), I did another VISA run to Poipet, Cambodia, it’s a border town between Thailand and Cambo, they have a ton of casinos all packed in there, lots of tourists go there from Thailand because in Thailand gambling is illegal. So anyways, went there and finally wanted to check out a casino, I chose the Grand Diamond City Hotel and Casino, went inside and I was surprised to see how nice and big it was, it had 6 roulette tables (my favorite), so I sat down, began wheeling and dealing, walked away after winning 8000 baht! :)

With Leonardo DeCaprio, well that movie was shot at this gorgeous place, hope you like my pics :) It was truly a lovely place!

On this day we went on a Klong Tour on the Chao Phraya River here in Bangkok, Thailand, it was nice, seen some cool stuff, Heidi met another love of her life, the little monkey thing, a gibbon, what was his name Heidi? Anyways, he was soooooo cute. So, we got to see the aligators just chillin, and the snake show was kinda neat, they milk the venom from the snakes, got a great pic of that. So, sippin’ on some coconuts, we continued down the river again, and got off on a dock, that charged us about 50 cents each for just landing at their dock, hehe, gotta make their bucks somehow I guess right?

After the klong tour we went right nearby to see the HUGE shiny Buddha monument inside the famous Wat Pho, it was like my gazillionth time there, but I thought T&H would like to see this huge thing. We covered a lot of ground that day didnt we??? :)

I’m having internet problems at my hotel right now, so cant upload the pics yet, coming VERY soon though :)
