The day after Shayda left Thailand there was rain nonstop for a LONG time, it began to flood pretty badly, it formed a little river on one of the main roads that cuts thru Bangkok, the road is Sukhumvit.

The pictures above are pictures from my near my hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 8. It was kinda neat to walk and wade thru the deep water that ended up getting as high as up to my knees!!! My shoes were totally ruined and you could see so much shit in the water, dead cockroaches, trash, etc etc, was kinda gross but still neat hehe

You cant go to Bangkok Thailand and not go to the Chatuchak JJs Weekend Market where you can buy many many weird things, animals, creatures, and trinkets along with the normal tourist crap. Here at Chatuchak you can definately get the best prices on everything though. As you can see you can buy those tasty looking bugs hehe! And then there’s the picture of me who took a liking to that plastic hottie.

We needed to do some touristy things so we decided to go to the temple Wat Pho, it has a HUGE Buddha laying on his side looking very relaxed hehe. The “Mother of Pearl” is the feet of the Buddha that nobody is allowed to touch, except for Shayda of course!! haha!!!

After that we went to Sukhothai Wat Traimit (Golden Buddha), which is a really big Buddha also, but this one is solid gold! Yep you heard me correctly!!! Supposedly worth approx. $14 million USD, which actually seems pretty underpriced to me since there is only 1 of these Buddhas in the world.

Thailand has a TON of Buddhas and temples!

Meeting one of my very bestest friends Shyla in Thailand on Monday October 2nd. We are gonna eat bugs and ride elephants and visit Buddhist temples for a week

Ok, I’m going to visit Thailand yet AGAIN to meet with Shayda, we’ll probably be hanging in Bangkok, Thailand for the most part.

Well, I’m thinking that while I’m away I might as well plan a short weekend trip to somewhere I’ve never been to yet here in Asia.
