Ayutthaya, Ancient City in Thailand

Ayutthaya is the old (ancient) capitol city of Thailand. It was founded in 1350 so it is totally OLD. A group of 5 of us went there today, took lots of pictures, and did a lot of exploring, having a nice time. But kinda sucked as there was a massive amount of “farangs” (aka tourists).

As you can see there were a TON of stone Buddha’s with their heads taken off when they were conquerued by the Burmese army.

The ancient ruins were really neat to see (1 time only) hehe and were similar to seeing Angkor Wat but not nearly as massive.
